How do I join the ExtraMile Extras™ Program and start earning Extras?

Simply enter a phone number on the ExtraMile Extras™ tablet near the cash register at a participating ExtraMile® store and make a qualifying purchase to start earning Shields. Earn 5 Shields to get a free Extra. You will need to complete your account registration on the ExtraMile Extras™ website or through the ExtraMile mobile app in order to be able to redeem any earned Extras. What is a Shield and how do I earn one?

Shields show your progress toward earning an Extra. Each time you make a qualifying purchase at a participating ExtraMile® store and enter the phone number associated with your account at the ExtraMile Extras™ tablet, you earn 1 Shield. Earn 5 Shields to get a free Extra.

How do I complete my registration?

You can complete your registration via the ExtraMile mobile app or the website at ExtraMileExtras.com. Please contact Customer Service by calling 1-800-574-2757, emailing ExtraMileExtras@orderquestions.com or Using the Contact Us page on the website if you have any issues completing your registration.

Do I need a special card to earn ExtraMile Extras™?

No. Once you join, your phone number is all you need.

Is my phone number enough to earn and redeem Extras?

You can begin earning Extras right away with just your phone number, but to redeem them you have to complete your registration through the ExtraMile mobile app or on the ExtraMile Extras™ website.

I don’t have a mobile phone. Can I still earn and redeem Extras?

Yes. You can use any 10-digit number as your unique identifier and complete your account registration via the ExtraMile Extras™ website or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-574-2757.

How do I Earn an Extra?

Make 5 qualifying purchases at any participating ExtraMile® store.

What is a qualifying purchase?

A qualifying purchase includes any convenience store item, excluding lottery tickets, tobacco, alcohol, motor fuel, services, car washes, propane, restaurant-prepared food, phone/prepaid wireless cards, gift cards and charitable donations.

For example:
Purchasing only a gift card does not earn a Shield toward a free Extra.
Purchasing a gift card + a snack does earn a Shield toward a free Extra.

A maximum of 3 Shields per day may be earned. Shields expire 60 days after earning them.

How do I redeem an Extra?

After you make the 5th qualifying purchase, you will have earned 5 Shields, which equals 1 Extra. You can redeem your Extra as soon as it appears in your account or save it for later. You can check if you have any available Extras to redeem when you check in on the ExtraMile Extras™ tablet at a participating ExtraMile® store or on the My Account page on the ExtraMile Extras™ website. Extras expire 30 days after earning them.

What exactly are the free Extras?

Extras can change from time to time, but right now they are:

  • Any size of fresh coffee beverage or fountain drink
  • Standard-size M&Ms®
  • 20oz Dasani water®
  • Lay's Potato Chips
  • Don Miguel Monster Taquito

Who keeps track of my Shields and Extras?

Every time you make a qualifying purchase and enter your phone number on the ExtraMile Extras™ tablet at the cash register, your purchase will be tracked and a Shield added automatically to your account.

How long does it take for my Shield(s) to show up in my account after making a qualifying purchase?

Your account will automatically update within 2 days of your qualifying purchase.

Do Shields expire?

Yes, Shields expire 60 days after earning them.

How do I check my Extras balance?

Once you register your account, you can track your Extras on the ExtraMile Extras™ website or through the ExtraMile mobile app. We'll also alert you by email and/or, if you decide to receive SMS messaging, by text message when you're close to a free Extra. If you have any issues checking your Extras, please contact Customer Service by calling 1-800-574-2757, emailing ExtraMileExtras@orderquestions.com or using the Contact Us page on the website or the App.

Is there a limit to how many Extras I can earn?

No.

Is there a minimum amount I have to spend to earn Extras?

No.

What if I make more than 1 purchase in a day? Do all of them count?

You are allowed up to 3 qualifying purchases in 1 day that will count toward a free Extra.

Do Extras expire?

Yes, Extras expire 30 days after earning them.

Can I give you feedback about the program?

What if I have receipts showing 5 qualifying purchases but my account isn't showing any Extras?

Can I redeem my Extras at any Chevron or Texaco station?

You can redeem Extras at any participating ExtraMile store.
